So many stages...
So many levels
A significance to every thing that she pedals.
Life is truly impossible to box...
Issues are weighty and heavy like rox.
Sorting through the infinite rinse.
She wonders if all of it will ever make since.
One foot in front of the other.
Each day seems to change less than another.
Everything's different but everything's the same.
A happier spirit
Living life tame.
Happy and hopeful.
Peace is worth it.
Despite all my cracks, I chose not to sink.
Passionate heart.... numbness is a poison drink.
But COURAGE is sooo important.
Strength is what it makes.
God's love is what can do it.
Gives you to do what it takes
Be who you are.
Embrace what you've been given.
Thankfulness is the only thing
that makes your life worth living.

Opportunity Knocks
Dear optimist, pessimist and realist,
While you are all arguing about the glass of water...
I drank it.

Andy and Ashley - Elegant Chic Wedding
Had a blast in June with Andy and Ashley.
Sweet young couple gettin started with a whole new life!
Glad I got to capture the kick-off!
July 3rd turned out to be a quite rainy day has the clouds moved in over Kansas City.
Ashley and Andy had a relaxing morning in their hotel rooms getting ready with their family and close friends. In some cultures it's good luck when it rains on your wedding day. Apparently, a wet knot is harder to untie. :)

The rain let up just in time for the couple's viewing on the Plaza. I love the blue tile steps. They remind me of ocean waves. Andy pulled up along the streetside in a trolley to catch a glimpse of Ashley waiting on the steps. Ashley burst into happy tears when she saw her husband-to-be for the first time on her wedding day.
