July 3rd turned out to be a quite rainy day has the clouds moved in over Kansas City.
Ashley and Andy had a relaxing morning in their hotel rooms getting ready with their family and close friends. In some cultures it's good luck when it rains on your wedding day. Apparently, a wet knot is harder to untie. :)
The rain let up just in time for the couple's viewing on the Plaza. I love the blue tile steps. They remind me of ocean waves. Andy pulled up along the streetside in a trolley to catch a glimpse of Ashley waiting on the steps. Ashley burst into happy tears when she saw her husband-to-be for the first time on her wedding day.
Everyone burst into laughter as Ashley read her vow to Andy in rhymed couplets.

The Berg, downtown KC housed one of the best parties of the year! Gorgeous place, modern and full of character!
